I'm a CHAI lover, no question! Have you ever tried drinking Chai at all? I love to drink iced or hot chai. I know that making a smoothie is pretty simple and wanted something different.
Chai is a black tea with spices like cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and etc. So you don't need to add any spices at all.
I was flipping through the cookbook that are speciality in making smoothie and it caught my eyes about CHAI. I thought why not I create it myself. I thought of why not mixed with mango as well.
It turned out very delicious and DEF will make it more often for sure!
It's not that too hard to make it. No dairy necessary at all. Just add those sorbets- more healthy than regular ice cream.
If you plan to use fresh mangos- please go ahead to do that but you need to freeze it FIRST before making this smoothie.
All you need is:
1 1/4 cups of a strong brew chai liquid (I use Oregon Chai Regular liquid *purple color*). Or you can even brew by using chai tea bag or loose leaves to produce enough chai liquid.
1 small bag of frozen organic mango
3/4 cup of peach sorbet.
Mix it altogether! That's all?! Yup that's all you need to do :D..
Enjoy this eastern smoothie and it remind you that you are vacating in middle eastern area :D.
